Why do some countries dominate global markets not through scale, but through identity, territory and perception? This course explores how geography, geopolitics and culture shape global business power, using Italy as a living laboratory. From Tuscan wine production to the global dominance of Italian luxury brands, students will analyze how territory becomes strategy — and how “Made in Italy” operates as a geopolitical and economic asset.
Through immersive classes and technical visits, participants will examine how global competition, supply chains and geopolitical tensions affect industries where origin, authenticity and prestige define value. The program combines academic rigor with field-based learning, allowing students to connect theory with real-world strategic decision-making.
