NEUROSURGERY, NEUROANATOMY, AND ART
Immerse yourself in a unique experience that connects neuroanatomy, neurosurgery, and neuroradiology with the history and aesthetic of Florentine art. In this innovative course, medicine and art intertwine!
Across museums, historic hospitals, and iconic monuments — such as La Specola, the Uffizi, the Accademia, Brunelleschi’s Dome, Ospedale degli Innocenti, Santa Maria Nuova, Santa Maria Novella, Palazzo Vecchio, and the Bargello — participants will experience an integrative and inspiring learning journey.
The proposal combines clinical reasoning, ethics, patient safety, and communication with technological innovation resources such as artificial intelligence, 3D modeling, and advanced medical imaging.
At the end, each student will create a reflective portfolio that brings together technical knowledge, humanistic sensitivity, and creativity — an experience that transcends the boundaries between science and art, body and mind, past and future.
