Course designed to study the epidemics that struck the Middle Ages, analyzing their impact on health and society, as well as the survival strategies adopted at the time. The aim is to provide a comprehensive understanding of medieval epidemics, including their pathophysiology, treatment, and preventive measures. By the end of the course, participants will be able to recognize the legacy of medieval epidemics in later developments in health, science, and society.
